ProjectCollab Acceptable Use Policy

Version 2026-09-15. Effective September 15, 2026. Creators Hub LLC, doing business as Project Collab.

Version 2026-09-15. Effective September 15, 2026.

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to every account, public page, job, portfolio, message, contract, invoice, review, upload, and transaction on ProjectCollab.

1. Use the Platform lawfully

1.1 Do not use ProjectCollab to plan, offer, request, fund, promote, or carry out illegal activity.

1.2 Do not evade sanctions, export controls, tax rules, employment or labor laws, permit requirements, payment rules, court orders, or another legal obligation.

1.3 Do not impersonate another person or organization, misstate authority, fabricate work or credentials, or submit false payment, identity, attendance, dispute, or review information.

2. Respect people

2.1 Do not threaten, stalk, harass, bully, exploit, dox, or incite violence against anyone.

2.2 Do not unlawfully discriminate in a job, application, hiring decision, message, review, or production. Do not use a protected characteristic as a proxy for an unrelated job requirement.

2.3 Do not share another person's exact location, private contact details, pay, identity documents, financial information, health information, or dispute evidence outside the access the Platform provides.

2.4 Do not sexually exploit anyone, solicit non-consensual sexual content, or use the Platform for trafficking or commercial sexual services.

2.5 Content involving minors must be lawful, necessary for legitimate production activity, appropriately safeguarded, and supported by all required parent/guardian permissions, permits, working-hour rules, and trust arrangements.

3. Keep productions safe

3.1 Do not conceal a known hazard, ask someone to perform work they cannot lawfully or safely perform, or retaliate when someone raises a safety concern.

3.2 Dangerous stunts, weapons, vehicles, animals, intimacy, pyrotechnics, drones, water work, heights, hazardous locations, and similar risks must be disclosed in advance and handled by legally qualified people with required controls.

3.3 Do not use an accepted role, gear selection, or call sheet to impose an undisclosed rental, dangerous duty, or material scope change.

4. Respect intellectual property and privacy

4.1 Upload or embed content only when you have permission. Accurately state your role and do not remove rights information or access controls.

4.2 Do not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, confidentiality, trade-secret, or contractual rights. Copyright notices follow the DMCA and Intellectual Property Policy.

4.3 Do not upload malware, credentials, government identification, full payment-card or bank details, or highly sensitive personal data unless a specific secure Platform field requests it. Stripe—not messages or portfolio fields—is the payment identity path.

4.4 Do not place exact addresses in public job descriptions. Use structured private location fields so access can be limited to accepted participants.

5. Use payments honestly

5.1 Do not use stolen or unauthorized payment methods, launder money, create sham jobs, collude on chargebacks, fabricate attendance, or manipulate allocations.

5.2 Do not falsely mark someone as a no-show, pressure crew to accept a lower rate after work, or use a quality complaint to avoid paying for attendance.

5.3 Do not deliberately move the same sourced job off Platform to evade an applicable disclosed fee or payment obligation during the narrow period in the Terms of Service. Off-Platform signing, invoice payment, portfolio viewing, and production-kit access remain allowed when the product offers them.

5.4 Do not promise that ProjectCollab provides escrow, insurance, guaranteed quality, guaranteed payment beyond the Payment Terms, or worker classification.

6. Protect the Platform

6.1 Do not probe, scan, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, exploit vulnerabilities, automate abusive activity, or access data you are not authorized to see.

6.2 Do not create accounts in bulk, manipulate reviews or verification, send spam, harvest contact details, or use Platform data to build competing identity, credit, background, or rate databases.

6.3 Ordinary browser use, authorized API use, good-faith security research under a published policy, and legally protected interoperability are not prohibited.

7. Enforcement

7.1 Report safety, fraud, harassment, or abuse to info@projectcollab.io. Report copyright claims through the DMCA and Intellectual Property Policy.

7.2 Depending on severity, evidence, urgency, and history, ProjectCollab may warn, remove content, limit visibility, pause a transaction, restrict a feature, suspend an account, close an account, preserve evidence, or report conduct to providers or authorities. When practical and safe, the affected user will receive a reason and a chance to respond.

7.3 Enforcement must not erase an earned crew allocation or redirect it to a lead. Existing payment obligations remain governed by the Payment Terms and applicable law.

7.4 ProjectCollab may act immediately where delay presents a credible safety, fraud, security, legal, or rights-holder risk.

8. Changes

8.1 ProjectCollab may update this AUP prospectively with notice appropriate to the materiality of the change. A change does not rewrite an accepted transaction's financial terms.
