ProjectCollab Creator Supplemental Terms

Version 2026-09-15. Effective September 15, 2026. Creators Hub LLC, doing business as Project Collab.

Version 2026-09-15. Effective September 15, 2026.

These Creator Supplemental Terms (Creator Terms) apply whenever you use ProjectCollab to offer services, lead or staff a job, accept a paid role, or receive money. They supplement the ProjectCollab Terms of Service (Master Terms) and Payment Terms.

1. Your business and legal status

1.1 You choose which opportunities to pursue, negotiate your own rate, and decide whether to accept an offer. ProjectCollab does not set or suggest rates, display rates on profiles, guarantee work, require exclusivity, or direct how you perform production services.

1.2 You provide services through your own independent business and not as ProjectCollab's employee, agent, partner, or representative. You are responsible for the tools, assistants, methods, schedule commitments, expenses, permits, qualifications, and insurance applicable to your work, except for items the Service Contract expressly assigns to the client or another party.

1.3 This clause does not override worker-classification law.

1.4 You may not represent that you can bind ProjectCollab or make promises on its behalf.

1.5 Contractor treatment is available only where lawful for the actual engagement. No account label, tax form or consent waives employee rights. You may serve other clients and decline unaccepted opportunities. Commitments to an agreed shoot time, safety requirements and deliverables remain binding; these do not give ProjectCollab authority to direct production methods. If employment or payroll is legally required, the responsible hiring party must arrange a compliant engagement; this marketplace's Stripe transfer tools are not payroll or an employer-of-record service.

2. Portfolio and role information

2.1 You must accurately identify your role in portfolio work and have permission to display the material. Do not claim another person's work or imply ownership of footage, music, marks, performances, or client material you are not authorized to use.

2.2 Portfolio Reviewed means only that ProjectCollab reviewed whether submitted work appears real, appears to be yours, and reasonably matches the roles claimed. It does not certify competence, quality, insurance, licensing, background, safety, or suitability.

2.3 Portfolio review and Stripe payment identity/onboarding are independent. You may receive crew pay without portfolio review if you are Payment Ready. The unqualified term Verified applies only when both gates are satisfied.

3. Offers and accepted work

3.1 Read the full offer, job days, role, amount, scope, and location information before accepting. Your acceptance creates obligations to the client or lead under that offer and any separate Service Contract; it does not create an employment or service relationship with ProjectCollab.

3.2 Accepted rates cannot be reduced unilaterally. A lead may increase your allocation. A reduction requires your express acceptance, a no-show record supported by attendance facts, or the participant-scoped dispute process in the Payment Terms.

3.3 If you accept, you must promptly disclose a conflict or inability to attend. You remain responsible for breach, replacement, cancellation, or other consequences in the accepted offer or Service Contract, subject to applicable law.

3.4 You must use structured location and call-sheet fields for addresses, parking, and access notes. Do not put exact addresses or other sensitive set information into public job descriptions or portfolio text.

4. Leading and staffing a job

4.1 If you are the lead, you may staff a roster and send crew offers only after the client payment has cleared and the booking is live. A conditionally held ACH booking may be planned, but crew offers cannot be sent while funds are clearing.

4.2 The client, booking participants, and other crew cannot see a crew member's offer or allocation amount unless they sent or received that offer. Organization owners may see lead offers that commit organization funds, but crew offers remain private.

4.3 You must not promise crew that a rate, role, date, or payment is confirmed until the relevant offer is accepted. ProjectCollab pays each allocation directly; you must not require crew to wait for you to forward Platform-released funds.

4.4 If actual work requires an increase that fits within your own accepted allocation, the Platform consumes your allocation first. A charge above the client's original commitment requires the client's separate approval and capture. No top-up may be requested after wrap.

4.5 A genuine no-show is recorded as an attendance fact. Partial work or an agreed reduction must be proposed to the affected participant. Creative dissatisfaction is not a no-show and does not justify withholding crew pay.

5. Safety, compliance, and production responsibilities

5.1 You are responsible for working lawfully and safely and for promptly raising unsafe conditions. Never accept or continue work you cannot legally or safely perform.

5.2 Unless the Service Contract assigns them elsewhere, you are responsible for business licenses, occupational permits, professional or guild obligations, tax registration, insurance, releases, and compliance affecting your services.

5.3 If you bring gear, a gear selection means you already have or control it. A rental, rental fee, loss term, or replacement obligation must be agreed explicitly.

5.4 Leads who engage other people remain responsible for lawful hiring, classification, wage-and-hour, meal/rest, workers' compensation, union/guild, child-performer, payroll, and workplace obligations to the extent applicable. ProjectCollab's allocation and transfer tools do not make ProjectCollab the employer or payroll provider.

6. Stripe onboarding and authority

6.1 To receive money, you must complete Stripe's connected-account onboarding and accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe Services Agreement presented through the flow.

6.2 You authorize ProjectCollab to create or link your connected account; share information you provide for payment services with Stripe; inspect account capabilities and payout readiness; initiate transfers of your frozen allocations; use stable transfer references to reconcile duplicate, delayed, or unknown provider events; and reverse or correct transfers only when legally permitted and consistent with the Payment Terms.

6.3 Stripe receives and processes information you provide in connection with payment services under Stripe's Privacy Policy. Stripe may request more information, suspend capabilities, or delay or reject a transfer.

6.4 Payment Ready is based on Stripe's reported state. It is not a promise that your bank will accept a payout or that Stripe will never impose a later requirement.

7. Allocations, release, and incomplete onboarding

7.1 Before wrap release, the Platform freezes the displayed split. What the wrap screen shows is the allocation the release process uses. Separate transfers are then initiated directly to each eligible recipient; they are not guaranteed to arrive simultaneously.

7.2 If your onboarding is incomplete when your allocation becomes payable:

  1. your allocation remains payable and does not expire;
  2. other eligible crew allocations may be paid;
  3. for seven days after your allocation becomes payable, the lead's allocation waits;
  4. after that grace period, the lead may be paid while your allocation remains payable; and
  5. when Stripe later reports you ready—even months later—your allocation is eligible for the next execution run without a new claim or manual approval.

7.3 You will receive reminders at wrap, day 3, day 6, and monthly after day 7 until onboarding is complete or the money is lawfully claimed. Day 3 and day 6 notices may truthfully name that your incomplete setup is delaying the lead. They will not say your allocation is expiring or at risk, because it is not.

8. Taxes

8.1 You are responsible for determining, reporting, and paying taxes arising from your services and receipts, except amounts another party is legally required to withhold or report.

8.2 Reporting, secure tax-information collection and delivery are governed by Payment Terms Section 15. Stripe reporting tools support the process; they do not replace each party's own obligations. Do not send complete tax forms or identity documents through ordinary job messages or support email.

8.3 Stripe may collect identity and tax information for payment and reporting. ProjectCollab does not store raw identity documents, full bank details, or complete tax forms in its application database; it stores provider references, limited status, method type/last four digits where applicable, and audit records.

9. Disputes and cooperation

9.1 You must provide truthful attendance reports and preserve relevant evidence. ProjectCollab decides whether agreed work happened for Platform payment administration, never whether the creative result was good.

9.2 Crew are paid for attended work despite a dispute between the client and lead. A dispute about one crew member's attendance or agreed reduction is scoped to that participant and does not freeze unrelated crew allocations.

9.3 You must respond to a dispute within three days and cooperate with the process described in the Payment Terms.

9.4 A dispute must be opened before release. Release is final for the Platform payment process. After release, ProjectCollab provides the available agreement, conversation, and audit record, but any unresolved claim is between the Service Contract parties.

9.5 For a cancellation, first discuss a mutually acceptable reschedule and record the outcome. Payment Terms Section 11 governs the 24-hour/50% cancellation policy. You may compromise your own claim, but not another participant's allocation. A proposed refund or date change does not take effect merely because one party requests it.

10. Additional promises and indemnity

10.1 You promise that your services, User Content, equipment, communications, and conduct comply with law, the Service Contract, and the Acceptable Use Policy.

10.2 Your indemnity under the Master Terms includes claims about your services, portfolio rights, injuries, property damage, worker classification, employment or wage obligations, taxes, permits, releases, guild/union requirements, and insurance.

11. Conflict and survival

11.1 These Creator Terms control over the Master Terms only for your creator or payee activity. The Payment Terms control for money.

11.2 Sections concerning accepted work, payment, taxes, evidence, intellectual property, indemnity, limits of liability, and disputes survive account closure to the extent needed to resolve existing rights and obligations.
